You know what's kind of ridiculous? The amount of neutral/nude polishes I've bought over the years. I've tried them all, high and low...some become favorites, some go straight in the trash can. Although I do love my signature red, nothing beats a good neutral nail. The list is likely to change when the next best version comes out, but here are the colors in my current neutral nail rotation.
CK One Point Blanc is a transparent white. It looks nice with one coat, and really clean and pretty with two. // Zoya Sabrina has a cream tone to it. I love Zoya polish; it goes on nicely and looks great for days. // Julep Oxygen Nail Treatment is a treatment, not a polish, but it makes nails look freshly buffed. It's my go-to for when I don't have time for traditional polish. I literally apply one coat and go. // Essie Spaghetti Strap is my favorite baby pink. It's really sheer, so it's not overly pink, making it the perfect barely there polish.
What are your favorites? (Mama Fabulous swears by OPI's Bubble Bath. She's used it for years!)
Those shades are LOVELY! And if I'm not buying multiple reds, I'm buying mulitple nudes. Love the hint of pink to these.

DeleteI love Essie nail polish! I've always noticed that the nail salons by me always use a form of Essie for a french manicure! I'll have to try out the spaghetti strap one to see if works for my nails good! =)

Julep polishes aren't my favorite...for some reason they chip more for me. Essie is my definite go-to!
Deletelight pink is my favorite! I rarely wear polish on my nails, I do too many crafts and they always manage to get destroyed within hours, but when I do, these colors are my go-to!

ReplyDeleteNeutral nails are my favorite-so practical too. I recently tried one that's been recommended a few times-OPI's bubble bath and I can say that it is not for me. My personal favorites are Mademoiselle by Essie and Madison by Zoya. I've tried others and always come back to these two. I like my nails to have a healthy natural neutral pink, not too sheer, not too opaque, not too pink and not too beige/cream. Those two seem to fit the bill! :) I'll have to try out that Julep Oxygen nail treatment.
